Yes! Social media is a big part of our conference. The official hashtag for the conference will be #p2cplus , and will be active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram throughout the week.
REGISTRATION & TIMING
WHEN IS REGISTRATION OPEN?
Main check-in opens on Dec 28 from 2pm to 5pm. A registration desk will be open 30 minutes before the morning sessions until 10pm each day.
WHAT TIME DOES THE CONFERENCE BEGIN AND END?
The conference begins with a pre-conference in the morning of Dec 28th followed by a main session at 7pm. It finishes four days later with a NYE party that ends at 1am on Jan 1. Checkout is at 10am on Jan 1.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
High school students are encouraged to participate, but attendees must be at least 16 years of age. Anyone 18 years of age and under is required to submit a completed parental consent form.
CAN PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE OF CANADA PARTICIPATE?
Yes, but please note that unfortunately, we CANNOT provide letters of invitation. Please be aware of any visa requirements before departing your country of origin.
CAN MARRIED COUPLES PARTICIPATE?
Of course! Married couples will also receive their own room at the same per person price as individuals.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?
Unfortunately, the minimum age requirement to attend the conference is 16 years old. Due to limited space and volunteer capacity, childcare is only available for P2C staff.
CAN I REGISTER AS A GROUP OR GET A GROUP DISCOUNT?
Yes, in fact we encourage it! Enter the promotional code “group” to reveal the group ticket options. All group tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to other people.
Our 4-packs of Conference Passes are ideal for those wanting to come for the whole time.
Our 10-packs of our All Day and Evening Passes are ideal for a large group coming for 1 particular day.
DISCOUNTS & FUNDRAISING
HOW CAN I GIVE DISCOUNTS TO OTHER PEOPLE?
Enter the promotional code “friend” in the registration page and then purchase the “Help a Friend” ticket. You will receive a unique promotional code via email that you can give to a member of your group or to a friend.
CAN SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY REGISTERED GET A DISCOUNT?
Unfortunately, promotional codes can only be used for people who have not yet registered.
CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE PROMOTIONAL CODE?
Unfortunately not. You can only apply 1 promotional code to an order.
WHY IS MY PROMOTIONAL CODE NOT WORKING?
Well, something went wrong! Please double check that your code was entered correctly. If you use a code, but do not complete the order, that code will be unavailable for 30 minutes from the time you started the order. You may also have selected more tickets than the code allows. If none of these addresses your problem, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for help and we will be happy to walk you through a solution!
HOW CAN I FUNDRAISE TO HELP WITH MY CONFERENCE COSTS?
Enter the promotional code “fundraise” to reveal the fundraising ticket. Once you purchase it, you will receive all your next steps via email. You can also make your own arrangements through whichever charitable organization you’re involved with. Please read the fundraising page for more details.
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY CONFERENCE PASS?
All individual Conference Passes are refundable before the deadline: Dec 28 at 9pm (minus the $100 deposit). After the deadline, all individual Conference Passes become entirely non-refundable. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for 4-pack Conference Passes, or All Day Passes, Concert Passes or Evening Passes.
CAN I GIVE MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes! But only before the deadline on Dec 28 at 9pm. Just login to Eventbrite and edit your ticket details with the new person’s information.
CAN I SWITCH MY TICKET TO A DIFFERENT TYPE?
Before the deadline, any 1 ticket can be switched to another 1 ticket. The credit card on file will be billed or refunded the difference according to the current price when the request is processed, which in general will be done within 7 business days. You can contact us through the Eventbrite event page or directly at email@example.com
HOW DO I EDIT MY TICKET INFORMATION?
Follow these instructions provided by Eventbrite. Only ticket purchasers can edit tickets.
WHAT ARE THE ROOMING ARRANGEMENTS LIKE?
Conference Pass + Accommodations and Single Hotel Night ticket holders will typically be roomed with 3 others. For an additional fee, we can arrange for you to have your own bed or your own room.
HOW DO I CHOOSE MY ROOMMATES?
You can indicate your roommate preferences on your eventbrite.com order form when registering or make edits to your registration at a later date. We cannot guarantee your preferences. We are more able to accommodate roommate requests on any tickets ordered before Dec 1, so make sure to register early!
ARE MEALS INCLUDED?
Unfortunately, meals are not included as part of the conference. However, there are many conference special events with food and there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and plenty of opportunities to join groups of people for dinner. CAN I STAY AT THE HOTEL ON DECEMBER 27TH?
Yes, just purchase a Single Hotel Night stay ticket and select December 27th as the night you are staying. This would be in addition to any ticket that includes accommodations. For example, if you bought a conference pass with accommodations ticket and also want to stay at the hotel on December 27th, then buy the Single Hotel Night stay ticket too.
I WANT TO GO TO P2C PLUS BUT I LIVE FAR AWAY. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
We want to make it as easy as possible for people who have to travel. Although you are responsible for your own transportation to the conference, we will organize transportation from a few select cities in Canada. Details will be added to the travel section of our website.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes, there are several parking lots around the hotel with various daily rates.
WILL FRENCH INTERPRETATION BE AVAILABLE?
No, french interpretation will not be made available this year.
